Erika McDonald

As Registrar of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS), I shape academic policy, enrollment strategy, student success, and act as steward of academic records across the FAS. I lead the Office of the Registrar and advise FAS leadership on academic policy implementation, while ensuring the integrity of teaching and learning through oversight of enrollment, curriculum, degrees, examinations, and academic records in support of Harvard’s liberal arts and sciences mission. I have been at Harvard for over 20 years—clearly, I enjoy higher education and the Harvard community and culture! I love how no day is the same, and that our office focuses on continuous improvement and service above all else.

Outside of work, you can find me cheering on my children at one of their many sports events, running in summer, skiing in winter, or relaxing in my hammock reading a good book.
