DEADLINES
MARCH 14
Eval Exempt Requests Due
Deadline to request course exemptions from evaluations, or be included regardless of enrollment size. See instructions for this my.harvard workflow.
MARCH 23
Instructor Edits Deadline
Deadline to assign instructional staff to their section(s). Classes with 5+ enrollments are evaluated.
"EXCLUDE FROM EVAL" CHECKBOX
Exclude individual instructional staff from course evaluations by March 23. Click the "Exclude from Evaluation" checkbox in the Meetings tab to indicate a person should be excluded.
Ex: if a Teaching Fellow is appointed but not interacting with students they can be marked as "Exclude from Evaluation.”
ACTION ITEMS
Resolve the items below by March 23.
Multiple Primary Component Classes
Addmissing instructional staff to your Multiple Primary Component classes. AURORA does not feed TA/TF appointments into these special courses!
Combined Sections
List instructional staff across all combined sections they support. See your combined sections with mismatching instructors. For a more detailed list including instructor names, run the "Instructor Mismatch" report in the FAS Curriculum Workcenter report.
Undergraduate Course Assistants
Course Assistants (CA's) must be manually entered into my.harvard. If a CA is incorrectly listed as a TA/TF, adjust their role accordingly:
If they don't need Canvas access, adjust the role to Course Assistant.
If they require Canvas access, adjust to Enhanced Course Assistant.
