Fall semester is fast approaching! Please review your courses in the Course Catalog before August 3 to ensure students see accurate course information and can register properly. You should also review the FAS academic calendar and start of term information for faculty on the Office of Undergraduate Education’s website.

Course Review Instructions
Step 1: Log in to the my.harvard Course Catalog to search for your Fall courses. 
Step 2: Complete our checklist highlighting key items for your review.
Step 3: Contact your department’s curriculum coordinator to make any needed adjustments by August 3.

Why the August 3 deadline?

  • Students begin adding courses to their Crimson Carts on August 15.
  • Late changes to the Course Catalog cause enrollment errors.
  • It helps us maintain the integrity of course offerings so critical information (e.g. grading basis, units, etc.) doesn't change last minute for students planning to enroll. 

Making changes after the deadline

Only the following adjustments can be made to your courses after the deadline:
  • Meeting time
  • Instructor adjustments and grading permissions
  • Class notes
All other types of changes cannot be made after the August 3 deadline.
