Dear <<First Name>>,

Each semester, it is your department's responsibility to give new leadership or staff access to my.harvard or renew the appointments for existing members.

If you do not update your roster, the appropriate staff in your department or house may lose access to student information or to perform crucial tasks like approving petitions or making degree recommendations.

I encourage you to join me for a training that will walk you through this process so that you can successfully update your roster for Spring 2022.

How to update an advising committee
Advising committees are a collection of advisors that advise a group of students, such as all students in a given concentration/program or all students in a particular undergraduate house.

How to update student advising records
Students can be advised by an individual advisor (sometimes referred to as a 1:1 advisor), or by an advising committee. These two advising relationships must be set up differently.
