## Portal Optimization Project with Harvard University Information Technology

**Project Description:** The my.Harvard Portal Optimization project aims to build upon the [Public Course Search Beta](http://beta.my.harvard.edu/) product and deliver a best-in-industry experience for students, advisors, faculty, and delegates using logged-in features of the Portal. This effort includes: modernizing the user interface, streamlining system architecture and performance, improving usability and accessibility, delivering long-awaited features for calendar planning and more, and ultimately reducing the related ticket volumes and issues that are experienced with the current legacy portal.
