Frequently Asked Questions

I have an HUHS immunization hold, what do I do?

If you have an immunization hold, check your status in the HUHS Patient Portal. If you need a flu shot, call HUHS for an appointment at 617-495-5711 or visit HUHS in the Smith Campus Center. If you have already scheduled an appointment with HUHS for required vaccinations, please contact them directly about lifting your immunization hold. Students may also get appointments for required immunizations at local pharmacies. Note that there is a delay in processing care received outside of HUHS.

When does cross registration open for non-FAS schools and MIT?

If you plan to cross register at another school, you will need to register for courses through two distinct processes (during FAS registration and during the other schools' registration). Cross registration for the Harvard Divinity School is typically around the same time as FAS registration, so you may cross register for HDS courses during that time.  Most other Harvard schools and MIT will open cross registration for FAS students sometime near the start of term. Please consult individual school calendars for details.

I've received instructor permission for a course, but when I attempt to enroll, I receive an error message stating that the class is full even though the class hasn't reached its capacity.

You are receiving an error message because you have a closed lab/discussion section in your cart. To enroll in the course, delete the course from your cart, your instructor's permission still remains valid. Re-add the course to your cart and choose an open lab/discussion section to complete the enrollment process.
