Managing Advising Groups

Updating your my.harvard roster is also referred to as Managing an Advising Committee. You can update your roster at any time, but you should review this at least once per term. Our training will walk you through the process. Roles typically expire on June 30 or December 31.

Each semester, it is your department or House's responsibility to give new leadership or staff access to my.harvard or renew the appointments for existing members. Typically the Department Administrator or House Administrator is responsible for managing staff access. If you do not update your roster, the appropriate staff in your department or house may lose access to student information or to perform crucial tasks like approving petitions or making degree recommendations.

Please join us for training that will walk you through this process so that you can successfully update your roster for Fall 2023.
